Largely self-taught, with professional development across the United Kingdom and Europe, I am a British contemporary sculptor whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Working across figurative, portrait and animal sculpture, my practice is shaped by British-Caribbean heritage and lived experience, inviting discussion about shared histories, human experience and the natural world.

Community and family memories, close observation, archival material and life study inform my practice. I combine realism with critical enquiry to reimagine people, histories and the natural world through sculpture. Each sculpture begins in clay, where ideas develop through the making process before being cast in bronze or resin. Selected works incorporate reclaimed materials that reinforce environmental and narrative themes.

My work explores identity, memory, cultural heritage, social justice and humanity's relationship with the natural world. Accessibility also informs my practice through tactile, auditory and olfactory elements, together with light and shadow, enriching how sculpture can be experienced beyond sight.

Through an established professional practice, I create sculptures that are empathic, responsive and encourage dialogue. By combining technical skill with conceptual enquiry, my practice contributes to the evolving language of contemporary sculpture. It broadens opportunities for sculpture to be experienced, understood and valued across different ages, backgrounds and diverse communities.
